After I packed up all of my things...well everything that would fit in my car...my Dad and I left for Tennessee. It was an eventful trip. After we got there I had to take him to the airport and drop him off. That was so hard to do. I miss him a lot. He is my superman!

| This is my house. I grew up here. My childhood was here. One day i would love to buy this house. The people who live here now have taken great care of it. Warms my soul. |
| On our way to the Caten's we went past my old school. now that was a long time ago! |
| Mr.. Heath was my principal. In fact I think he is still the principal. He was the best! |
| Mr. Brazle was my 6th grade teacher. He was pretty good. But nowhere near as good as Mrs. Rigby, my 5th grade teacher. I will never forget her. She made it fun to read! |
| When i was in 3rd grade my best friend Clay wanted to climb this. So he and I went and climbed all the way to the top. We would do that every day until one day he fell off the top and broke his arm. And no I DID NOT PUSH HIM. lol |
| After our trip down memory lane we went and got my car officially licensed in Tennessee. I AM OFFICIAL! |
| This is the Caten's back yard. They Let me stay with them for awhile when I first got to Tennesse. |
| Yes there house is my little piece of home away from home. it is so peaceful. |
When I got to Tennessee I stayed with the Caten's. They are amazing. They have been through so much. They have a beautiful family there youngest daughter is 18 months old and while I was staying with them was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. It was devastating. But still after that news they were the amazing family that I know and love. It seems like everything they face just makes them stronger. And all of their kids are equally amazing. While I was there I really created a bond with Mitchell, he is 5. My room had a Jack and Jill bathroom with his brother and his room. He would wake me up in fun ways almost every morning. I have a couple that are my favorite.
1:He came into my room and knelt by my bed and started to pat and pet my face while whispering, "Oh please wake up I just want to play with you."
2:He came in one morning Can-can dancing and singing New York, New York. Needless to say I tried to get a video but he yelled and said, "NO HANNAH, that was just for you!" haha
3:He burst throught the door one morning when I had slept past 7 saying, "HANNAH, HANNAH!" I asked him what he needed and he said, "Oh nothing I just want you to watch Kid History with me." Um yes i may or may not have created a Kid History monster. He would quote it to me all the time. His favorite quote is "Let's go do something flippin awesome!" haha
4:After he had gone to visit his little sister in the hospital one day he went straight to bed. He woke up at about 1am and I heard my door slide open. He came up to my bed and said, "Hannah I had a nightmare can I lay here with you?" He slept in my arms that night and we watched Despicable Me and Kid History (of course!) He kept waking up saying he had nightmares about the hospital. That broke my heart but i am glad i could be there to help.
I sure do miss seeing that family everyday. But with Kelsi being so sick and her immune system being so low they have to keep visitors to a minimum. If you ever want a good tearjerker to read read her story at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/kelsicaten
Here are some pictures of Mitchell and I. After I left I came back a week later and when I walked in the door he ran at me jumped on me and said, "I love you! I wasn't sure if I would see you again." I love him! :)
| He had a really hard time making fishy faces. lol |
Well I am now in my new apartment with my job. And I do love my job most nights anyways. Every so often I get someone who is truly sick and needs my help and I remember why I became a nurse. I love it. And I love my apartment. Although I do NOT love the 4 huge spiders I have found. I named them Voldemort, Bellatrix, Aragog (I thought that was fitting since that one was twice the size of the others), and Dobby (that one was the smallest big one.) Can you tell I was listening to the Harry Potter books when this happened? haha
| "Voldemort" |
| My beautiful BE board and my kitchen. I love my piggy bank! haha |
| My curtains in my living room and my star. I love that star it has all my decorating colors in it! |
| My HEAVY TV that my Dad lifted onto that table. I have to idea how he did it. |
| My "Life" haha it has everything on it. |
| My mom made me this as a house warming present. She hand quilted it too. I will keep it forever. Every time I walk past it i touch it and think of her and how much she loves me. |
| My office with my diploma and nursing license. :) I feel so professional. haha |
| My office still has the "den of love" colors. lol |
| Homey's buffet. haha When i bought her those red bowls she would not go near them. She would hiss at them and her tail would look like a Christmas tree. haha Eventually she figured it out and she loves them now. |
| My mom thinks she is sooooo funny. She sent me this huge spider. These are Homey's toys. She sleeps under the Spider sometimes and that stuffed cat is her best friend. when I leave for work she has the cat by her. It is her baby. lol But it is really freaky when i come in from work and it is dark in the house and her eye glow along with the spiders. yeah I jumped the first time. haha |
Well That is about all I have for now. Oh wait! My parents are moving to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. My dad got a job with Sonic. they will only be 6 hours and 43 minutes away! Can't you tell I am excited?! :) Oh i also am going to Colorado on October 12th through the 19th to help them pack and to play with friends :) I can't wait! Well until next time! <3
